The Originals

The makers of The Vampire Diaries decided on a spin-off after the massive love some of its characters got. The story follows the original vampires, who started it all, the Mikaelsons. Lucifer

Lucifer Morningstar, the fallen angel, the devil and the ruler of hell, abandons it and descends to Los Angeles. Meanwhile, hell has spiralled into chaos without its ruler. Angels and other biblical creatures drop by at Los Angeles, to send Lucifer back to hell. The star of this show undoubtedly is Tom Ellis. He embodied Lucifer to perfection and is a visual treat. Locke & Key

After their father’s death under mysterious circumstances, the Locke family moves to their ancestral mansion - The KeyHouse. The Locke siblings discover magical keys that can unlock portals to other worlds. Soon, strange entities show up in the Keyhouse, in search of the magical keys.

Game of Thrones

ShadowHunters

Based on the best selling book series The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare, Shadowhunters follows Clary, who discovers the magical world of shadow hunters. Shadowhunters are human-angel hybrids who hunt demons. Clary gets dragged into their mystical world and learns that she has prior ties to the other world. Clary is now entangled in a web of magical creatures threatening her life, and forbidden love.

While the show deviates quite a bit from the books, Shadowhunters is an enjoyable and engrossing watch with star-crossed lovers, forbidden spells, and prophecies waiting to happen.

The Witcher

The Series follows Geralt of Rivia - The Witcher, a monster hunter, and Crown Princess Ciri - running away after her kingdom is overthrown and Yennefer of Vengerberg - once a hunchback, now a powerful sorceress. The series follows their journeys and how their fates intertwine eventually.
